  • 23 February 2018 AUSY and the startup AgreenCulture announce their partnership in responsible agriculture

    As part of the 2018 Centéol Challenge, which wishes to promote smart farming, the AUSY Group, consulting and engineering company in advanced technologies and subsidiary of the Randstad France group, and the Toulouse startup AgreenCulture have finalised a partnership with the objective of developing an autonomous agricultural robot. Mobilising technologies as diverse as geo-positioning, robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), this robot collects data to complete high-precision tasks in agroecology. The AUSY engineers use their expertise to help AgreenCulture face certain challenges in the robot's development. Initiated by AgreenCulture, the 2018 Centéol Challenge consists of simultaneously using multiple agricultural robots in order to place a 50-hectare plot of corn under total autonomy. It began in October 2017 and will continue all throughout 2018 with a harvest— the final step—planned for October 2018.

    In June 2016, the project Roll’n’Reload, designed by students from ESILV (Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci), won the “Imagine the Future” challenge. This challenge was organised by AUSY, an international consulting group focusing on advanced technologies, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Students from all over France were invited to submit an innovative project that responded to a challenge in sustainable development.

    From February 16-26, 2017, the 4L Trophy will celebrate its 20th edition. Thousands of youth have thrown themselves into the adventure and have traveled thousands of kilometers to join each other in Morocco in order to help children in need.

    For 19 years the 4L Trophy has established itself as the most important student rally in Europe. Each year more than 2,000 young adults invest in this project. Together, they travel across France and Spain until they reach Morocco, where they help underprivileged children. AUSY has been committed to helping student teams for 5 years. Once again this year, the Group will support 6 teams for the 2017 edition of the 4L Trophy, which will take place from 16th to 26th February.

    This year, AUSY is a partner of the BNP Paribas French Open wheelchair tennis tournament. This major tournament of the worldwide Super Series is also the 1st international wheelchair tennis tournament organised in Europe by the Fédération Française Handisport (French Disabled Sports Federation). This event will be held over 6 days, from 21st to 26th June at the Parc Interdépartemental des Sports d’Antony (in the Sceaux park).

    AUSY announces the acquisition of the US firm Celerity. Founded in 2002 and based in Virginia, Celerity employs approx. 550 staff. This firm generated an over US$80m Turnover and an Operating Margin approaching 9% in 2014.

    The 4L Trophy, dedicated to students aged between 18 and 28 years, is the biggest student rally in Europe. This charitable sporting adventure is not just about speed but also sense of direction. For the 18th edition in 2015, 1,159 teams and 2,318 students from over 1,460 schools took off on this race across France, Spain and Morocco. For the 4th consecutive year, AUSY, an international Consulting and Engineering firm in Advanced Technologies, will sponsor 6 teams and through this sponsorship will create solid relationships with engineering students who will become future decision-makers in IT.

    Leading aircraft manufacturer, Airbus, has appointed the AERTEC solutions and AUSY partners as a referenced supplier for manufacturing engineering services. The partners have been awarded these contracts after a stringent selection process by Airbus for Manufacturing Engineering Services Strategic Suppliers (entitled ME3S), where a list of more than 100 contenders has been finally reduced to just 12.
