AUSY is fortunate to play a role in the biggest medical imaging R&D centre in France
Nicole, manager AUSY

Healthcare represents 12.5% of France’s economic activity. It includes market and non-market healthcare (hospitals, healthcare professionals and laboratories), the pharmaceutical industry as well as suppliers of medical products. AUSY oversees R&D activities of healthcare product manufacturers. Suppliers of medical devices have little or no national presence and are often of small size. We are fortunate to play a role in the biggest medical imaging R&D centre in France and to accompany start-ups in this field, always seeking innovation and always at the forefront of the latest technologies. Our collaboration with these companies covers the entire AUSY R&D activities including software development, electronic and mechanical engineering.

Over and above our technical and functional skills, a major issue for our clients is to be able to react to constant technological developments. They expect a rapid response, our expertise and our commitment to accompany them until the commercialisation of their products, a critically important phase as it concerns the health of the population.  AUSY is committed on a daily basis to following the development of standards currently in place in this sector and training its consultants to ensure they are operationally ready for their assignments.

The scope of AUSY’s intervention covers the entire hospital information system from human resources management to the administrative management of patients. The current trend is to form EIGs thus allowing hospitals to pool IT resources into a single solution. Some mature solutions attempt to establish themselves on the French market such as WEB SANTE for PMSI (hospital activity and expenditure data) or PASTEL for administrative management of patients. Our goal is to ensure that the solution EASILY, developed in collaboration with the hospitals of Lyon, becomes a key solution in the years to come.
