Our school partnerships

«Our challenge : recruit and keep the best» Marianne Facon, Head of Internal Growth

In order to train tomorrow's consultants and give them the experience of real client projects, the AUSY Group favours their immersion in the world of High Technologies by proposing numerous integration opportunities during their study cycles :
 Alternance/Apprenticeship contract
 Temporary position contracts
Internships their final year at engineering schools .

In 2008 and 2009, the AUSY Group recruited with open-ended contracts more then 3/4 of the engineers integrated into internships.

First-hand account

« Our trainees are stakeholders in our success and the success of our projects »Julien Trassaert, Director, Industry R&D Centre

« More and more we are looking for young talent and the best way to find it is to search the schools. We integrate them directly to reinforce our project teams, which offers our teams new blood, enthusiasm and communicative motivation.

We place our trainees directly under the responsibility of the project managers: it's the best way for them to quickly integrate the company. They very quickly acquire this way a real vision of the team work, our clients' constraints and work directly on our solutions. We train them on AUSY's work method and processes and that is the best baggage that we could give them for their future professional life. Clearly, we do not want to take trainees in order to entrust them with missions with no objective : they are stakeholders of our success and the success of our projects and as far as possible we insure the valorisation of their skills and their knowledge.

The proof that it works ? WE have recruited most of our trainees in 2008 and since the beginning of 2009.

« If you are able to prove yourself, internships at AUSY can often lead to open-ended contracts » Joseph, Consultant, R&D Engineer specialising in telecommunications

« I was recruited by AUSY last November after having carried out a 6 month final year internship with them. Doing this allowed me to receive my degree from l’ESIEE Paris, (école d’ingénieurs en électronique et électrotechnique) Engineering School for Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
This internship was my first major industrial project. It was the first time I was part of a team, based on a project for Commitment to Results. I was one of 3 testers in a team of 10 people (designers, integrators and a project manager).
The primary objective? To put in place and test tools capable of aiding the design of a future Embedded Software, as well as checking the responses of these tools to restrictions imposed by the aeronautical standard DO178B level A.
The testing that was carried out is essential: it often allows light to be shed on areas which are ambiguous. As well as this, it allows the source of errors, which may not have otherwise been noticed at the time of the software specification, to be found. This activity promoted the importance of teamwork, because in order to find a solution we needed to communicate and work together.
Immediately after my internship, AUSY offered me an open-ended contract. Today, I am in charge of tests for the hybridisation of data coming from GPS navigation, the inertial unit and the altimeters used for the aeronautical project A400M.
Why did I choose AUSY? It was a friend who told me about the company: if you are able to prove yourself, internships at AUSY can often lead to open-ended contracts. There’s also the atmosphere at AUSY; young and dynamic, which encourages me every day to do the best I can. We are all around the same age so we often go out together and we share the same interests (winter sports, travelling, TV shows, films…), which adds to the good atmosphere and is definitely a real asset at work.
What do I think about my future at AUSY? I would like to go on to work on projects that are based more in the telecommunications field, one of the key sectors of AUSY. And if there’s an opportunity for the next mission to be abroad, why not?!? »
« For my first job, AUSY gave me the opportunity to attend the most relevant technical training courses. »Gilles, Consultant, System Engineer

« Graduate of “l’Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieur Sud Alsace”, ENSISA (South Alsace’s National School of Engineering), specialising in systems and signals engineering, I was recruited by AUSY in an open-ended contract straight after my final year internship.
I joined the project group for Commitment to Results, which was formed a year ago to work on the HYBRID project for the biggest aeronautical manufacturer in Europe. I was assigned to the V & V team (Verification and Validation).
For my first job, AUSY gave me the opportunity to attend the most relevant technical training courses: I attended the Expert SCADE training course and was able to get certificates for the Embedded Software related to the standard DO178B-A, a very restrictive security standard in Aeronautics. The thing I like the most at AUSY is the training that they provide for future projects due to the rigour that is required.
I was initially interested by the company for the quality of the internships it offers but also for its high ranking: the company is in the Top 50 companies in Engineering Consultancy in the European market. I was surprised by AUSY’s reactivity, as in a matter of days I had already had my first interview and been assigned to a major project.
Overall, I would say that I am completely satisfied with AUSY: the quality of the projects, the means put in place in order to complete these projects (technical and process training courses), the good atmosphere in the teams (always laughing, going out together after work,….)  all make AUSY a company that is different to others. The experience with AUSY is very interesting, as you have the opportunity to do the maximum amount of things in a very short period of time. You are able to work on projects which require many different skills and observe every aspect of the project as it unfolds. It is a very rewarding experience both professionally and personally.
Recently, I became part of another project for Commitment to Results and the skills I obtained in previous projects means that I am able to be the technical leader for it. »
